Firstly, a big thank you for giving us such a warm welcome at your event. We hope you will enjoy looking at the images of a splendid weekend spent touring our beautiful Northamptonshire countryside. Owners can still order any mounted photographs from this section. |
Jo Fairfax has created a triangular illumination, over Triangular Lodge, of 3 water towers in Desborough, Rothwell and Beanfield (Corby) using laser technology. 180 Degrees of Light is part of FLOW, a series of artworks by leading British artists that relate to the journey of water through Northamptonshire focusing on the Oxford and Grand Union Canals, River Nene, Water Towers and an Edwardian reservoir. The resulting display has given me an opportunity to create stunning images of the area from a water tower perspective. |
Another set of illuminating images from Boughton House where the FLOW team, who also gave us 180 Degrees of Light, have been back at work. Lasers and camera used together to provide the opportunity to be creative to stunning effect. |
Sunday, 5th October, 2014. A beautiful, crisp autumn morning, the sun shining & the sky blue. A perfect day for the FFP Charity Bike Ride, a sponsored event to raise funds for the Macmillan Nurses. There were 2 rides, one of 50 miles for the more seasoned cyclists, the other of 20 miles, taking in a lap of Pitsford Reservoir, for the less energetic participants. | |
